As it heats up in Dubai, we are looking for cool indoor places to continue our fit and fun activities during the summer.
We have had quite a few friends tell us to go to BOUNCE Middle East so we went to check it out ourselves. Located in the industrial area of Al Quoz, BOUNCE is the first and the original indoor trampoline park in Dubai with 100+ interconnected trampolines.
We got in for 7pm, which was brilliant because as it is Ramadan, so many people are with their families having their first meal of the day! Which means we had the place to ourselves. It is safe to say that the place will be busy during evenings usually.
Thuymi, as a former cheerleader, went straight to the flip trampolines, which offers a safe way to jump into an air pit. I saw the basketballs and naturally went to the Slam Dunk trampolines to work on my windmill moves 😉
There are also games of Dodgeball to play, Parkour type walls to climb and bounce from and performance trampolines for those who want to be a bit more serious.
In regards to fitness, this is one of the toughest workouts we have ever had. The constant jumping is energy sapping which is great for your body! You can burn as much as 30 minutes of running by jumping for 10 minutes!
There was even a trampoline fitness class going on while we were there. It was a class for women that anyone could sign up and come do for the same fee as the entrance fee. Highly recommended if you are looking for a new fitness routine.
