A luxury experience to unlock in the heart of Budapest @ Four Seasons

A luxury experience to unlock in the heart of Budapest @ Four Seasons

Have you ever dreamed of visiting Hungary? A country full of surprises and home of the beautiful capital Budapest. A perfect blend between Eastern and Western Europe with the many rustic and luxury gems all around the city.

Just in front of the the Széchenyi Chain Bridge on the Pest side is the stylish and luxurious Four Seasons, a Canadian international luxury hospitality company with over 100 magnificent properties all over the world.

Usually people are used to hear Canadians being proud of their hockey, winter olympic performances, maple syrup, poutine, but on top of all that, I’m a Canadian that is oddly very proud to say every time I speak of the Four Seasons, that “Heyyy it’s a Canadian brand!”.

The beautiful Four Seasons Budapest at night.
As you enter the lobby, the ceilings are going to capture your eyes and draw your hands to your camera or phone to snap photos. I couldn’t resist and unfortunately enough was not travelling with my partner to be able to shoot the perfect instagrammable photo. Maybe you should for me next time you book here?

The hotel took over the Gresham Palace, hence its actual full name: Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. It combines perfectly the historical feel of the palace and the elegant modern luxury design, resulting in an extraordinary feeling when you walk within the walls of the property. I now leave you with this photo essay that will hopefully inspire you for a stay like royalty in the heart of Budapest.

Amazing live music during the afternoon tea.

Women’s changing room for the Spa, Health & Fitness and Pool.

Drinks before an evening session at the pool? Yes please! The bar of the Four Seasons is a must either if you are a guest or not!

Interior pool areas are quite common in Europe. I have to say I love my big resort pools and private pools in villas, but travelling to Europe is the complete opposite! A definition of a great luxury hotel in Europe for me is to be able to integrate an indoor pool while still providing a sentiment of serenity and escape. I sure felt that way here.

Viszontlátásra!
