Astor Nights: Wine & Dine Experience at the St. Regis Singapore

Located at the St Regis Hotel, the Astor Bar is hosting monthly classic dining experiences paired with Château de Parenchère wines and are available now. If you are looking for a casual night or looking for a date idea, make sure that this is on your itinerary. With the next one on March 27th, make sure you come and try it out. The premise for the Sunday dining experience is a rotating theme night exclusive to the last Sunday of each month. The theme we will enjoy is Wine and Cheese 🙂

Held every month (we were there on the wine and cheese experience), you will be treated to a range of delicious food and drinks while soaking in the atmosphere of the bar. 

Inaugural night of the Astor Nights

As you are enjoying the ambience of the bar, the chef is wheeling around and showing off the food. They have a whole host of cheeses from all over the world. And the best part of it? You can have as many of these as you like, so make sure you are ready for several rounds. We had one of every type of cheese, ranging from soft to hard and from light to strong. For people who absolutely love cheese, this experience is a perfect evening to relax and taste all of these treats. 

Like all good cheeses, they must be paired with some even better wines. Thanks so much to the sommelier, Matilda Hui from Château de Parenchère wines, who took us through a journey of the wine pairings. We had a mixture of white and reds as they matched our international cheeses perfectly. 

If you are looking for something a little stronger than wine, they also have phenomenal cocktails at the bar and can make nearly anything on command.

In March, the Astor Night experience is highlighted with an extensive flowing menu of tapas selections complemented by a flow of Portell Cava for two hours. Astor Night runs on every 3rd Sunday of each month, with a rotation between cheese, tapas and oysters.
