Capella Hotel Singapore Bob’s Bar: New cocktail menu

Amidst lush tropical forests and pristine coastal landscapes,  Bob’s Bar at Capella Singapore offers a revitalisation of craft cocktails, informed by the vibrant colours and nuances of our local culture and heritage.  

Each with its own distinct story to tell, Bob’s Bar’s refreshed menu of elevated cocktails are handcrafted with a modern approach to flavour combination and sustainability. Florals, fruits and botanicals are the mainstays of this showcase as the flavours profile a seamless blend of spirits and aromatics.

Cocktail connoisseurs and curious tipplers alike can look forward to savouring a range of  innovative cocktails. Golden Bells, whose namesake derives from the bright yellow trumpet-like  flowers found scattered throughout Sentosa Island, is made with Arquitecto tequila, Mancino  Bianco Ambrato, Crawley’s pineapple & almond syrup, egg whites and a seasonal citrus topped  with mint leaves, promising a hint of bittersweet, zingy finish.  An island retreat calls for a relaxing yet zesty beverage such as the Electric Mango, a unique combination of Mackintosh blended scotch, Pierre Ferrand dry curacao and Mathilde Peche liqueur, topped with salted mango cheeks, Crawley’s agave syrup and lemon juice. 

The Electric Mango is a great taste and agave syrup really enhances the taste in our opinion.

Just like with food, a little bit of salt can enhance the flavour of a cocktail. The Peacock Punch,  a non-dairy milk punch with oodles of comforting spice, maltiness and a smooth aftertaste, is concocted with Rebel Yell Bourbon and Pinot noir mixed with chai tea, oat milk, gula Melaka and a dash of lemon. 

“The design of the new menu at Bob’s Bar took inspiration from the bliss and tranquillity experienced by our guests here at Capella Singapore. We have curated a special collection of imaginative and contemporary pours that would be the perfect companion as you celebrate life in this stunning slice of paradise,” shares Linda Hemels, Executive Assistant Manager Food &  Beverage at Capella Singapore. 

Combined with the rich heritage and old-world charm of the hotel and its location, Bob’s Bar nestles within the heart of Capella Singapore, offering an idyllic respite from the bustle and buzz of the city. Bob’s Bar offers tapas-style bar bites and bespoke cocktails and is open from 3.00p.m.  to 10.00p.m. daily.

We really enjoyed most of the bits, in particular we loved the skewers as the chicken was super tasty and juicy.
