Taking place last 7-9 April, 2016, MEFCC was at its 5th time and Dubai has been very thrilled to host an amazing line up of superstars! Every year hearing about ComicCon in Montreal has always made me eager to go, but never I have had the occasion to make it. For our first year in Dubai – we couldn’t miss the opportunity to get there and see all the fans dressing up and strolling around playing videos games.
As much as I don’t seem like a geek, I certainly grew up playing Mortal Combat, GoldenEye and many other games! Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, N64, PS1, name it, I had them all!
On the lineup was my favourite Nikolaj Coster Waldau, Jaime Lannister the King Slayer in Game of Thrones. Doc Brown from “Back to the Future”, director & screen writer Max Landis, WWE wrestler Randy Orton, Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC a hip-hop artist turned comic book writer, actresses Summer Glau and Veronica Taylor were the others on the amazing lineup of this 5th edition of MEFCC.
We had tons of fun and was very happy to be part of the (over) hour long press conference with all these stars that was 100% for Q&A from the media! So looking forward for next year to stay longer and snap more pictures for your guys!
