As the AdventureFaktory fam, we’re always looking for hotels that balance experience, location, and practicality. Since we’ve recently started traveling with an infant, accessibility and walkability now matter just as much as style and comfort. Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel Brisbane delivered strongly across all three, making it an excellent base for exploring the city while still feeling like a destination in its own right.

Location of Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel
Crystalbrook Vincent is located at the Howard Smith Wharves, directly beneath the Story Bridge and along the Brisbane River. This location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. You’re close enough to the CBD to access it easily, yet removed enough to avoid the noise and congestion of the city center. From the hotel, it’s possible to walk to many key areas, including river paths, dining precincts, and public transport links. Traveling with an infant, this mattered to us—smooth footpaths, short distances, and easy access made getting around with a stroller simple and stress-free. I think this is the most convenient hotel in Brisbane and it has an all time view of the city.
Rooms at Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel Brisbane
The rooms at Crystalbrook Vincent are modern, well-designed, and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a cot. Large windows frame river or bridge views, adding a strong sense of place without sacrificing privacy. Soundproofing is effective, which is particularly important when traveling with a baby and trying to maintain nap schedules. Storage space is practical, and the overall room layout feels functional rather than decorative for decoration’s sake. We were able to have great views of the bridge, city, all in one. The room has a huge bath and we were able to relax there and still have the view.
Food at Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel Brisbane
Breakfast at Mews Restaurant, located downstairs, was one of the highlights of our stay. The menu focuses on high-quality ingredients, good coffee, and well-executed classics rather than excessive variety. Service is efficient, and the space works well for families, with room to park a stroller without feeling cramped. In the evenings, cocktails at the hotel bar were a relaxed way to wind down without needing to leave the property. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, making it possible to enjoy a drink even when traveling with an infant and keeping evenings relatively early. Even though the food is incredible at the hotel, there are dozens of options around.
Facilities at Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel Brisbane
The infinity pool is a standout feature. Overlooking the Brisbane River and Story Bridge, it offers a calm place to relax while still feeling connected to the city. Pool hours are flexible, and the surrounding area is well maintained. It fills up quick, so get there nice and early to enjoy the sport. They provide the towels as well, so bring the suncream. Other facilities include a gym and wellness-focused amenities that align with Crystalbrook’s sustainability-driven brand approach. Everything feels thoughtfully managed rather than excessive. Another great place at the hotel is the upstairs bar, which serves as a super popular place for brunch, like dozens of people drinking and enjoying the day away.

What Is Around
Howard Smith Wharves sits directly outside the hotel and is worth visiting even if you’re not staying onsite. It’s ideal for people watching, casual walks, and informal dining. We spent time simply strolling along the river, which worked perfectly with a baby in tow.
The hotel’s location also allows easy access to Brisbane’s riverwalks, ferry terminals, and city attractions. Whether you want a short walk, a longer riverside stroll, or a quick trip into the CBD, everything feels accessible without needing a car.

Our Personal Overall Experience
Our stay at Crystalbrook Vincent felt well suited to this stage of travel for us. As a couple now traveling with an infant, we appreciated the balance of design-led accommodation with genuine practicality.
The walkable location, reliable dining options, and comfortable rooms meant we could enjoy Brisbane without overplanning. Morning walks along the river, relaxed breakfasts, afternoon downtime by the pool, and evening cocktails all felt achievable—even with a baby. Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel Brisbane is an excellent option for travelers wanting a stylish yet functional stay in one of Brisbane’s best locations. For couples, families, and especially those traveling with an infant, it offers comfort, accessibility, and a strong sense of place—all without unnecessary complication
