Pier 7 is one of the premiere going out places in Dubai, but they also have top class restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food with an amazing view overlooking the Marina.
Located at the 6th floor of Pier 7 is located Asia Asia, a fine dining eatery with some delicious Asian cuisine. As it overlooks the Dubai Marina, you get amazing views and plenty of cool Insta picture opportunities!
Asia Asia is an ideal spot for a hot date, or even double date… extra perks, with the Fine Dining guide of The Entertainer, you can get 2 for 1 on any of the bottle of grape! Well that is quite a deal eh? There is also a Friday Brunch and Main Course voucher available, which is totally worth it considering the menu at Asia Asia is not economical!
Our personal favourite was the Gyoza, but it was a super close call 🙂 So don’t forget, you HAVE to get the Gyoza’s! Then, you can also never go wrong with a Dim Sum Basket! As for the mains, do not skip theUS Prime Rib Eye!
For parking, don’t park in the Mall’s parking, Pier 7 has free valet for all their outlets, except Fumé. Of course, if you are a local from the UAE, having The Entertainer guide, especially if you are a couple, is totally worth it to get 2 for 1! Learn more on how The Entertainer works.
To make sure we didn’t miss on anything amazing, we tried out many speciality dishes. Here is our out take on what we ate
Truffle Salmon Maki: These were delicious, sprinklered with a lot of cheese, we literally ate the 8 pieces in 2 minutes.
Duck Breast Yaki Skewers: This was really nice, it was very tender and the Mandarin Puree sauce they used was just perfect. Pomegranates on top was a good idea!
Wagyu Beef Gyoza: With Shiitake mushroom, celery, spring onion & truffle oil, these Gyoza’s were one of the best we have ever had! They seared it so well it was so crunchy!
AKA Miso Salmon: The salmon is marinated in Miso soup for quite long. On top of it they add sweet potato puree, sumac, pink pepper corn and zucchini tartare, a delicious light main, very healthy feeling as it was very light. Just what you would expect for a salmon dish. Although this wasn’t our favorite. If you are less hungry than we are, we recommend you to try our other recommendations first!
US Prime Rib Eye: Never can go wrong with Rib Eye, I love my meat fat, so Rib Eye is always a good idea! It is served with roasted kabocha (this was so good!!), parsnip miso and glazed ancho chilli.
Dim Sum Basket: 8 delicious pieces of Dim Sums of all kinds, we had to order it and don’t regret the decision at all, it was perfectly yummy! We are HUGE Dim Sum eaters. Were these awesome? Not mind-blowing, but we loved them. I’d say we have to come back to their Brunch where they serve all you can eat Dim Sum as well, so we can have a better taste of it! After all that food, I guess the Dim Sums were not as much appealing!
Exotic Mochi Selection: Mochis are amazing Japanese desserts. Here we got mini ice cream mochis, a round dessert ball consisting of a soft, sticky rice cake formed around an ice cream. We had delicious Coconut, Mango and a quite funky last flavour!
Ah Asia Asia, it was delicious, see you again soon for a fabulous brunch and ladies night perhaps!
