What is a Brazilian Churrascaria
If you have never heard of the cuisine concept, a churrascaria is a place where meat is cooked in churrasco style, which is translated roughly from the Portuguese word for “barbecue”. Churrascaria cuisine is known in Brazil and a must if you do ever travel there. It is typically served rodízio style, where roving waiters serve the barbecued meats from large skewers directly onto the seated diners’ plates. Anywhere in the world that you go to a churrascaria, think of an all you can eat all types of meat buffet! Absolutely one of our favourite experiences when we travelled to Rio De Janeiro during the Rio Olympics in Brazil.
