Eat in Dubai: Besh

AdventureFaktory - Where to eat Turkish food in Dubai

Need your Turkish Cuisine fix? We needed it badly after visiting Istanbul! We will make sure to recommend you good spots to eat Turkish … once we have seen many haha. So far we have tried Besh – feel free to message us over places we need to try for Turkish Cuisine.

Besh @ Sheraton Mall of Emirates

This place is ideal for casual post-work dinner and group dinners.

The service is not bad, but slow. They are super helpful to recommend you the best dishes carved to your preferences.

The food you need to order:
–  We went for the 5 Dishes meze (Manti – our favorite, beef mini dumplings – Sigara Boregi – cheese rolls, Cerkez Tavugu – walnut + chicken mix, Etli Dolma – lamb stuffed vegetables and Sote karides – Sautéed prawns) … you NEED to get the Manti!
– Uzun Karisik Izgara – Large mixed grill of 1KG – it’s perfect for 3-4 people, so much food, so worth the price!
– Turkish ice cream (duh) it’s healty and delicious
– Knefe – they do it on the spot, takes 20 minutes ish, it is SO good, they serve it with some vanilla Turkish ice cream, make sure to order it prior being done eating your mains!

We loved the fact each staff member comes from a specific hometown of Turkey that is specialized in a type of food. We also love cheap mezes! The lamb is awesome, doesn’t smell at all since they infuse it in milk when they marinate.

We didn’t like the lighting in the place. Can’t quite put our fingers on it but it is some how too bright – not white hospital lights but close enough. Wasn’t too keen on the Sautéed prawns, definitely not there to order that! Make sure to get their specialties instead.
