A short walk across the road from COMO Shambhala is GLOW, a great place to eat quality food at a competitive price. Glow is located at SuperNature at Forum The Shopping Mall 583 Orchard Road. As you walk in, there are shelves and rows of healthy goods. They also have a live kitchen full of healthy drinks, fresh and tasty salads, juices to detoxify and cleanse, warming soups, sandwiches and delicious cakes.

Glow encapsulates SuperNature’s belief in healthy living by featuring our nutritious and delicious COMO Shambhala Cuisine that can also be found at the COMO hotels around the world. Most of the foods are celiac and gluten-friendly which is an added bonus. More importantly, they have gluten-free desserts for days! Without being too greedy, we both tried a mixture of salads, including the of the Avacado Salad, a Chicken Wrap and the pumpkin soup of the day which is very rich and tasty,
If you are looking for some healthy option and work or live around Orchard, this has to be your stop. Glow also delivers food from the Takeaway Menu. Of course, takeaway is also available, using 100% green and biodegradable take-out packaging, as the company strives to do its part in reducing the Earth’s carbon footprint. The Glow team also recommends you to bring your own Tupperware if it’s even possible! COMO Shambhala
COMO has a long-lasting reputation for holistic self-improvements in health and the wellness centre is no exception. COMO Shambhala is a way of living inspired by a fictional kingdom (known as Shambhala) which is a sacred place of bliss. It was designed by Christina Ong, the founder, as she was looking to find a meaningful spa experience which had the best facilities and expertly trained teachers.
The centre is still open currently, and they have large team that run a host of wellness-related activities such as Yoga, personal wellness consultation, body massages, couples workouts, pilates and mindfulness sessions.
The facility has plenty of space and equipment, with 3 massage rooms, changing rooms, 4 group yoga studios and several private studios too.
If heading out into society is something you would like to minimize during the COVID times, then they also do a range of online classes, both live and pre-recorded.
