Eat in Dubai: Watch the Dubai Dancing Fountains while feasting at Gunaydin

There are many places where you can dine to have a prime view of the Dubai Dancing fountains, but if you feel hungry and want to optimize your quality/price, you better reserve a spot at the Turkish restaurant Gunaydin.

Where is Gunaydin

Located in a prime spot of Souk Al Bahar, Gunaydin is facing straight to the little bridge that brings you to the Dubai Mall. You can look over across to the beautiful Dubai Mall Apple Store where tons of people will line up to watch the famous dancing fountains. Eating on the terrace of this restaurant will give you a beautiful unobstructed view to the fountains. Make sure you reserve in advance to make sure to have a spot. For parking, you should park in Souk Al Bahar.

Style and looks of Gunaydin

Gunaydin looks like a great modern restaurant. The meat carousel when you walk in is quite impressive and clearly shows the pride in serving meat! Terrace is certainly the prime spot to sit for dining whilst enjoying the fountain show.

Eating at Gunaydin

How can you not order a traditional Turkish kebabs plate if you eat at a Turkish restaurant? Added to that, you should add some cold mezzes. If you are more people and feeling hungry, you can add soups and hot mezzes as well.

Gunaydin Dubai quick review

This place is ideal for watching the Dubai dancing fountain show and feeling eating A LOT of meat.
The service is great, the waiters know their menu quite well.
The food you need to order is the turkish meat platter.
We didn’t like that you have to walk out quite far for the restroom.
Bill for two 400 AED (~100$US)
