Eggslut, the renowned sandwich haven that made its debut in our Singapore home in 2021, is making waves once again. Now boasting a new Suntec outlet, the eatery is partnering with Jumbo Seafood for an exciting collaboration: the Chilli Crab Sandwich ($16). Available from July 7th to September 30th, 2023, at both Suntec and Orchard locations, this locally-inspired delight comes accompanied by a fresh addition, the Chilli Crab Slut ($12).
The Chilli Crab Sandwich showcases luscious brioche buns cradling Jumbo’s signature chili crab sauce atop Eggslut’s famous cage-free soft scrambled eggs. With its delectable sweet and slightly spicy profile, the sauce harmoniously complements the generous serving of creamy eggs.
Our Experience:
It’s so important to jump into the meal ASAP, as this sandwich is best enjoyed fresh. Our experience revealed that it can become a tad saucy if left untouched for too long.
For those seeking extra indulgence, consider trying the Chilli Crab Slut – an enhanced version of Eggslut’s popular Slut. This dish comprises potato puree with a coddled egg, crowned with chives. What sets it apart is the additional layer of the same tantalizing chili crab sauce nestled within.
This treat veered slightly towards the saltier side, making it advisable to pair it with a refreshing selection of beverages such as Orange Juice ($5.50SGD) or Iced White ($6).
