Experience Ramadan in Singapore at One Kampong Gelam

With the start of Ramadan kicking off, Singapore has a range of fantastic bazaars for you to come and experience. One Kampong Gelam invited everyone to come and celebrate the community and light at Raikan Cahaya Ramadan. This is Kampong Gelam’s annual month-long bazaar which runs for the holy month of Ramadan.

It is all centered around Singapore’s famous Arab street and surrounding areas, giving it a truly authentic experience and appreciation for the month.

At One Kampong Gelam, you can talk through aerial light shows, music presentations, and light projections with art installations everywhere as well. The projection show will run on Fridays and Sundays at Masjid Sultan.

The aerial light show will be on Fridays and Saturdays.

We walked around for an hour just trying to see all the food stores and what food they have on offer. There are over 86 food stalls to choose from and another 14 retail stores in case you have a shopping itch too.

You can expect to see plenty of options like satays, kebabs, rojak, bread desserts, and pancakes.

We chose some great frozen drink options and some traditional dishes that filled us up so fast. Even if you don’t like a certain food, they have a wide range of everything so you can be as experimental as you wish.

If you are in Singapore and are looking for a culturally immersive and eye-opening experience, look no further than coming to the Ramadan Bazaar at One Kampong Gelam until April 16th.

Goodbye!
