There is nothing worse than knowing the airport where you land is so far away from the city. When you want to go to South Korea, specifically Seoul, you must know that you are actually landing way far off the city of Seoul and you will be in Incheon. Best way to get peace of mind is to get a friend to pick you up but not all have the luxury to have friends all over the world for pick ups! So here are your options for a swift commute between Incheon Airport to Seoul.
Get to Seoul by Bus
I took this means of transportation to get to the airport. Incheon’s airport limousine bus service is comfortable and quick! Once you get off the plane after getting your luggage, head to an information booth, the lady will give you bus options to get to your destination. The best though is to pre-plan you trip so you have an idea. No need to pre-book, you just pay as you hop in your bus. It will cost 9,000W to 15,000W (10-15$US) depending of the class you choose.
Airport Bus Numbers and Detailed Information
C’est le meilleur moyen. J’ai pris le bus pour me rendre à l’aéroport (6009 pour la station Gangnam). Le service de bus limo est propre, rapide et tu n’as pas besoin de trainer tes bagages. Lorsque vous arrivez à l’aéroport, allez à une station d’information pour demander quel bus vous allez prendre. Ils parlent bien anglais, y devrait y avoir aucun problème! Le coût varie entre 9,000W à 15,000W qui est environ 9-15$US. Aussi, pas besoin de réserver en avance, il faut just payer à l’entrée du bus.
Cheapest way to get to Seoul from Incheon Airport is by Train
Yup, there you go, the secret is revealed! The train is the cheapest and quickest way to the heart of Seoul, but I would not recommend it. Better to take the bus as it can be very annoying to carry your luggage around. There are two options also, one that is express (around 15$US) and the All Stop Train around 5$US.
C’est le moyen le moins cher et peut-être le plus rapide aussi pour se rendre en plein Seoul, mais je vous recommande de prendre le bus. En métro il faut trainer vos bagages et c’est très fatiguant. Pour le express ça coûte environ 15$US et pour le métro normal ça coûte autour de 5$US.
Taxi to Seoul
Don’t take it, as it is way over the top expensive. If you really can’t be bothered it’s going to cost you over 75$US to get to the city center.
Prenez juste pas le taxi. Ça va coûter au-dessus de 75$US pour se rendre au Centre-Ville de Seoul.
