Eat in Dubai: Kad Ché at Square Bay (Downtown)

Cute cafe in Dubai

If you are downtown and fancy an cute place to do some work, you should stop by KAD CHÉ, which is in Arabic slang means “bite”. It is absolutely a very cute place to add on your list of coffee shop/local restaurant to see around Square Bay.

Where is Kad Ché

Kad Ché is located Downtown Dubai in the Bay Square blocks.  It is unfortunate that they are not in areas like JBR where it would make so much sense for families and couples to pass by for delicious iced popsicle lattes, but who knows, they might open there one day! Parking downtown can be quite tricky, but at least there is 2 hours free visitor parking.

Style and looks of Kad Ché

The branding is with black and yellow as main colours you can find on chairs and signs. It is a very clean simple space and totally chilled to work for the whole afternoon while sipping on coffees!

Eating at Kad Ché

The menu has a wide range of salads, sandwiches and desserts made from fresh organic ingredients, our favourite being the ‘Crispy Shrimp’ and ‘Caramelized Brie’ as mains accompanied by either normal fries or sweet potato fries (pick sweet potatoes!!). The main winning element of the place is their signature drinks, most specifically their ‘Iced Popsicle Latte’ and ‘Coffee Cone’.

Kad Ché Dubai quick review

This place is ideal for lunch during work time or to bring your office to the place and much while working!
The service is lovely.
The food you need to order is the caramelized brie sandwich with sweet potato fries + the iced red velvet latte.
We didn’t like that you have to walk out to go to the restroom, but hey, we are being precious haha!
Bill for two 160-200 AED (~40-55$US) for a sandwich combo + a signature coffee each!
