Activities and promotions are going on in Singapore from 19 February to 19 March, with 11 top bars and restaurants across the island to offer special menus and giveaways to Margarita fans:

  • Beast & Butterflies at M Social
  • Beats Bites and Cocktails
  • Comida Mexicana
  • Cuba Libre Café & Bar
  • Foxtail
  • Gem Bar
  • Lucha Loco
  • Super Loco Customs House
  • Super Loco Robertson Quay
  • Papi’s Taco
  • The Dragon Chamber

Each of the participating venues will offer the Original Margarita with Cointreau, tequila, lime and salt, with at least one twist on the classic throughout the month. The Margarita is ranked as the #8 best-selling cocktail in the world and loved by millions globally!

We personally made our way at Lucha Loco, a very cozy taqueria on Duxton Hill with a nice garden bar. Find authentic Mexican food and quality tequilas, but come sip on the Margarita twist inspired by a Singapore Sling, the Mexican Sling, with Cointreau, gin, wild mezcal, Dom Benedictine, Cherry Heering, pineapple, prickly pear and lemon! This Margarita can also be found at Super Loco (S$19++).

Go to many places like at The Dragon Chamber, tucked away at Circular Road near Boat Quay, where you can find a Chinese New Year inspired Margarita, Dr. Tang – with Cointreau, Espolòn, sour mix and tangerines – which draws inspiration as an auspicious symbol of good luck and wealth (S$16++).

La Diabla (by Papi’s Tacos)

Go smoky and floral with the La Diabla with Cointreau, mezcal, hibiscus extract, lime and agave at Papi’s Tacos (S$18++) or try the Very Nice Margarita with butterfly pea-infused Cointreau, Espolòn, homemade dried orange peel syrup, apple and lime juice at Gem Bar (S$16++) and the Tipsy Margarita with Cointreau, Espolòn, brown sugar caramelized lime juice and a glass rimmed with charcoal smoked sea salt with freshly grated lime zest from Beast & Butterflies at M Social (S$8.80++).

Beats My Margarita (by Beats Bites and Cocktails)

The first 100 customers who purchase a Margarita cocktail from any participating outlets will win Cointreau merchandise, such as branded tote bags and beach hats, so ruuuuuun!
