To trek in Nepal is to be lifted, literally, away from it all. No matter how long you decide to trek for – 5 days, 12 days, 18 – you’re making the choice to remove yourself from the mundane, the chaotic, and just the regular pulse that most of the world finds itself on. In the mountains, life simply cannot be sustained at the same pace as life at sea level.
I found that the higher we trekked, the more relaxed I felt. Slower Wifi, higher altitudes, sore legs, and nowhere to be: all factors that contribute to a simultaneously thrilling and serene adventure. Follow our journey on the Ghorepani-Gandruk trek, where we got face to face with the Annapurna range of the Himalayas.
