For non-paid sponsorship of hotel reviews, restaurant reviews, event invitations or product seeding/gifting, our team does not unequivocally promise any writeup or social postings, positive or otherwise. The content that we deem relevant for our readers and in sync with our content pillars do have a better chance of being considered for a feature. We do our best with our resources to write a review for every single media invites we agree to attend, but this isn’t required.
Are we guaranteed a post or an amazing review if we sponsor you?
We do not share opinions that we do not believe in. We always make sure to point out positive and negative points when we review something in a respectful way. We believe in constructive reviews.
Can our company request changes to an article you published?
No. Non-sponsored or sponsored products/events are never subject to any merchant’s editing as it is based on our own honest first-hand review along with our personal choices. If the facts we state about a business are wrong, we will be understanding and make the edits accordingly when highlighted.
Are you paid for your review articles?
Unless it is specifically indicated, a percentage of our articles are invites from PR agencies or business owners themselves seeking published feedback and visibility online, but not paid for. These articles are still subject to our honest opinion. This is the same case for most media too, where PR agencies and brands organize reviews and media events to give the opportunity to reviewers, journalists, writers, community influencers and bloggers to create content to inform or entertain their respective audiences. Paid advertorials do occur as we need to make a living and pay our website bills, but again, we only accept to work with brands that make sense to us and our content. If paid and sponsored, the posts are clearly marked so.
If your stay/product/meal is sponsored, wouldn’t you be biased?
No. We have created this website out of passion and to provide to our readers insights of our personal experiences and to be honest. We receive many products and sponsored requests daily from Public Relations Agencies and Brands, but we only make time to work with partners who understands that the content will be relevant and of added value to our audience. Just like in journalism, a media stay/product/gift, never does promise in exchange any coverage unless the interest in the said product is potentially relevant to the content of AdventureFaktory and its readers. A positive review is also not guaranteed and will be reviewed strictly based on the experience. If you don’t believe our opinions and our team of writers’ opinions, at this point, there is not really anything we can do other than to invite you to stop consuming our content!
Can we do a giveaway with you?
We are open to hearing about giveaways that are of added value to our readers. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have an idea in mind but normally we only do giveaways with regular partners of ours, as we know what to expect with their services or products. Note that we will never conduct a giveaway of a product or service that none of our team members has reviewed prior.
The experience we had with the product/service is different to yours (negative or positive). Was it because you were sponsored?
No, we always share our own opinions on what we post whether it is sponsored or not, based on our experience at that time. Products and services do not qualify as positive or negative the same way for everyone because of our differences in choices, taste, culture, background, etc. Unfortunately, we do not control the consistency of a service or product you have received following the reviews you have red online or through our website.
