The Four Seasons Singapore is elegant from the first step, with the entrance separating hotel guests to the right and those that are there to dine on the left, making the check-in lobby uncrowded and tranquil.
The 20-storey and 255-room hotel is located a short walk away from shopping centres like ION Orchard, Ngee Ann City and Isetan Scotts. It is also a convenient short walk away from Orchard MRT Station. Guests can access via an air-conditioned walkway next to the hotel’s all-day dining concept One-Ninety Restaurant to access Orchard Road, the country’s main shopping strip.
The hotel has two outdoor pools. The rooftop pool has a view over the city, great for families with games and pool toys for kids and the other pool is a much calmer spot where the lap pool is with tropical plants lining a quiet sundeck and hot tub. There are nice cabanas where complimentary fruits and water awaits you. It also has four tennis courts, two outdoor and two indoor air-conditioned courts.
The fitness centre, spa, sauna and steam room are on the third floor.
The Four Seasons has two restaurants. One-Ninety Restaurant is the all-day open-concept dining restaurant serving wood-fired steaks and seafood, while Jiang-Nan Chun specializes in fine-dining classic Cantonese cuisine.
Breakfast is served at One-Ninety Restaurant, specializing in Western and Singaporean flavours. The breakfast buffet comprises an international spread ranging from Indian, Chinese and Japanese. We loved having Tamago! Also find selections to pastries, cold cuts, Western breakfast sides, in addition to self-serve Mimosas at the juice station.
The buffet isn’t huge, but the selection is diverse enough to our liking. There is no à la carte offerings for the buffet breakfast menu but you won’t need it considering the quality of the dishes on display for the buffet.
Our experience at the Four Seasons Singapore
We love the suite in which we stayed in: very spacious with a walk-in shower, bathtub and L’Occitane toiletries. Located high up at the 19th floor, the view over the city is very enjoyable.
The bed and pillows are exactly the comforts we expected from Four Seasons. It is so good that there is no wonder why they are also selling their custom Four Seasons Bed.
Our overall experience was enjoyable, albeit an incomplete by Four Seasons standards (as they re usually big resorts and not city style) and also in relation to the limited number of dining concepts compared to other properties around the world and limited spa facilities. At the end of the day, the service of the team is always impeccable, we expected nothing less from Four Seasons! The fitness facilities were exactly enough to get a good workout and the room was large, spacious and luxurious.
With the recent reopening of hotels in Singapore for staycations, the Four Seasons team invites you to slip away and recharge with crafted experiences. Pets are also welcomed!
