There are many plans available for V-day in Dubai but if your other half is a fan of the MasterChef show, we have THE ideal plan for you. Join the restaurant of MasterChef in Dubai for Valentine’s Day to enjoy a 5-course tasting menu (don’t be fooled by tasting, it will FILL you up by the end of the night) which is created by MasterChef, the TV Experience’s very own Chef Margarita Vaamonde. This menu is unique and will only be available on the 13th and 14th of February 2020 at the MasterChef, the TV Experience restaurant, located in the Marina.

For the V-Day special, the set-menu with no drinks is at AED 529 per couple. With a Prosecco, it is at AED 799 and AED 1,299 is you prefer Moet & Chandon.

In fact, the venue is hosting a quite winning Dine & Stay Package, which is a set menu with an overnight stay at the Millennium Hotel Place Marina. This will cost an actual crazy price of AED 799 per couple. I mean, that’s a deal!

There is also the option of a set menu with a bottle of Prosecco and a stay at AED 1,099 per couple, or if you feel Moet & Chandon, it will cost AED 1,599!

The bread is absolutely delicious, honestly ate most of them and wanted more as the dip is amazing. Beware, save space for the rest as I sure did run out of space!

Amuse-bouche: The Potato and Caviar, which is made of white potatoes, yellow potatoes, sweet potatoes, creme fraiche, caviar and cheese.

The Starter is another explosion of flavours with the Asparagus, Kumquats and Lemon salad. It is seared white asparagus with confit lemon and butter emulsion, asparagus and parmesan puree, lemon gel and confit kumquats.

For the main, you have the choice between the Scallops and Black Rice or the Mushroom and Cheese Mille-Feuille. We tried both and if we were to recommend our favourite, we would say go for the scallops!

Post main, you will get a palate cleanser that is quite out of the ordinary: some spicy lychee and celery granita. Personally would’ve wanted it less spicy but still was quite a fan and somehow got addicted even though it isn’t quite my cup of tea. For dessert, it is a chocolate and blood orange smores, once again with a little spicy kick, which I struggled with but if you are a fan of that flavour, you will absolutely LOVE it!
