The challenge when you travel is to find the right restaurants if you have dietary restrictions. If you are vegetarian, travelling in Asia can be quite tricky. Although, you should know Asia is actually a heaven for vegetarians, you just know to know the places!
Meet these decent restaurants we love to go and enjoy some amazing vegetarian food in Ho Chi Minh City. Feel free to comment and suggest us your favourites!
Hum… Vegetarian
Hum is one of our favorite places in HCMC. We always recommend friends & visitors to go eat there. They usually look at me sideways when I mention it’s vegetarian, but after eating there, their eyes are glowing. The menu & the decor all have a professionalism that any restaurant should aspire to!
The food is always fresh, try the fried rice in the pineapple & the mushroom curry served in a coconut. The presentation of the food is fabulous for your Instagram account and the cocktail menu is a delight. Go the the Thi Sach location for the best of the two locations!

Prem Bistro
Hidden in an alleyway of Vo Van Tan, we decided it was time to venture around and find this place! Lovely decoration and not so crowded, the food was simply AMAZING! The ravioli was our favourite. The place have few stories, but best is to go in the evening and sit downstairs. Charming and delicious, don’t miss out on this place!

Ploughman Garden
A vegetarian spot in District 2, by a Japanese owner, hidden pretty well in a small location. The owner is all about compost and works hard on having no plastic around, therefore the wooden chairs & tables, plants, and recycled materials. Of course you will find some sushis, but the curry there is what I recommend! Fresh & delicious.
