USA: Watching the San Francisco Giants Live (MLB)

Take me out to the ball game

One of my Bucket list goals was to see my San Francisco Giants baseball team play a home game. The goal was ticked off my list last week when I was lucky enough to see them play at AT&T Stadium vs the Rockies.

Our traveling Australian Football team, the Hong Kong Dragons had all organized tickets, so there was no way I wasn’t going. I packed my Giants jersey and was ready to watch my team play in one of the most spectator friendly ballparks in Baseball.

Walking into the stadium, you can see why it is known as one of the most spectacular parks to watch baseball in the league. You can see the game from all the seats and everyone has a chance to catch a Home run or Foul ball. The San Francisco Giants are also notorious for having the best fan base. They are currently holding the league record of most consecutive sellouts – 388 games and counting. After winning last years “World Series,” the Giants have been playing really good baseball and I hope hoping that run would continue today.

Posey, Belt, Pence, Crawford all my favorites on display. Hudson pitching, a beautiful day to watch some baseball. The game was close the whole way, with both teams going run for run with both pitchers throwing well. Singing “Take me out to the ballgame” and the journey classic “Don’t stop believing” during the 7th innings with the whole crowd was an incredible experience.

My Giants lost the game but managed to claim the series. I am already looking at my schedule to see when I can watch them again on the road!

Tickets range from $40- 500 pending on your viewpoint and luxury you want.
